Space Station is the newest co-working space offering to hit Melbourne and I was very pleased to be designing and co-ordinating the build of this clever website.

The main functions of the website is to show off these beautifully appointed work spaces, plus process online bookings.

The Space Station serviced offices offer different sized rooms to suit all needs be it training rooms, boardrooms, private offices and/or hotdesks.

The best thing about this service is that its so flexible… rooms can be booked for an hour, day or over several days. Space Station currently have 54 offices and hotdesks at 3 different locations on offer.

With all these variables in mind, we had to find the right software that could handle the processing of the online bookings plus ensure the back-end interface would allow my client’s admin staff to learn it quickly and use it easily moving forward.

Through careful planning and clever branding, we were able to strike a happy medium between a professional, chic corporate feel and a friendly, approachable vibe in the look and feel of the website. We achieved this by using pastel tones and featuring visuals of actual people interacting with the space.

To give the user the most realistic experience of each space, we captured the offices in 3 different ways, through photography, videography plus incorporated a 3D virtual tour feature whereby site visitors can literally walk through the space via their screens.
